SPIRIT LED

Raised in a single parent home with his dad. Freddy also known as Spirit Led did not grow up in the church as a youth. As a young child Spirit Led knew who Jesus was, but did not know him as his savior. Getting involved in worldly pleasures he began to turn away from what he knew was good in the world. Being educated at Westside Baptist in Lewisville he saw how God was changing his life after accepting him as his Lord and Savior. After accepting Christ he still struggled with temptations daily. Realizing its a spiritual warfare he began to continually pray that God would deliver him from sinful habtis. Started reading the Bible more than ever before and noticed it takes more effort to apply what has been written vs talking about it.

Starting this new journey of his life the first artists with "Biblical relevance" he listened to was Lecrae, Trip Lee, and Da Truth. Having a passion for music Spirit Led began to speak on issues of life pointing all the answers to God and giving testimonies through his music. Connected with friend Lance Rayford who's also a artist. At a man’s conference had the opportunity to meet Lance and discussed the matters of music. Since then he has not looked back and running for the Lord through the good times and the bad ones. Besides learning Gods' Word he has a heart for helping all people and letting his life reflect who Christ is. In June of 2011 his first mixtape was created entitled "Led by Faith Project." Performing in youth facilities and around Texas he had his confirmation that this is what God had blessed for him to do. Spirit Led sophomore mixtape "L.I.F.E." was released on November 7th 2014.

In 2016 he released his 3rd project entitled “Transition” Spirit Led is determined to improve the quality of music, sound, lyrics and becoming more dynamic and creative with the help of some of the most talented people in Texas. The latest project "Spirit Led Fridays vol. 1" was released March of 2017. Since the last project there has certainly been difficult times and growth, but it’s given him a closer look at the importance of Jesus. In areas of family, friends, relationships, and health scars within the family. Experiencing heartbreak, pain, & testing of faith.  Life never goes as planned and there is constant change in most seasons of life. Some may be better than others some may be good and some unfortunate changes.

Nevertheless as a believer Freddy is confident that God will place him wherever He desires him to be. More excited then ever about music Spirit Led is on his way to release his highly anticipated ALBUM "Wounded Worshiper" release date TBD in 2019  In the next 5 years he can see himself making music as a career. Spreading hope and unity to a world that is divided and misguided.

Spirit Led says "at the end of the day, help me yield to your will and not my own."
